NY legalizes Gay Marriage

Last weekend was a historic weekend to be in NYC, celebrating Gay Pride as the NY assembly passed legislation allowing same sex couples to marry. NY now joins MA, IA, NH, VT & CT as the 6th state where gays can get married (along with federal district WA DC).

Getting married was never a major goal for me. Not having a significant other, but the whole process of the alter & church. Yet modern gay activists felt it's a "right" GLBT people should have for equality.

Despite the excitement in the air in NYC metro area gay ghettos, my sentiment is akin to Huey Freeman (Boondocks on Cartoon Network) feeling about Barack Obama becoming the 1st black president... Eh.

I've never felt excluded from the heterosexual ritual of marriage because I never cared to partake. As far as the benefits (which are really privileges) of marriage, there nothing that a good lawyer & contractual agreements can't compensate for.

Also, most importantly, a state marriage (or a statutory marriage) doesn't involve the Creator (or "capital g" God). The religious trimmings of a state marriage is just a window dressing as the words to pay close attention to from the reverend (or other religious figurehead) are "...by the Power invested in me by the STATE, I pronounce you..."

Those words uttered by the religious figurehead makes them a state agent. If he or she can't marry you without a state license, they're a state agent. Pastor Chuck Baldwin goes as far by saying (for other christian churches) they believe government, not God is their master.

According to Dave Champion, in a state or statutory marriage, the State, not God, not even the couple entering the marriage is the superior party over the marriage. Champion quoted CA law but says it's the same structure in all 50 states.

In addition to the state being the superior party over the marriage, the state is the superior party over the "fruits" of the marriage, which includes children (under 18), even if the couple divorces. Many people, including the religious right complain about state or fed intrusion into their lives not knowing that marriage license gives the state permission to do so. The State gotta protect it's "fruits" of the marriage.

It's crazy that "conservatives" like Ann Coulter would go off about libertarians saying the state should get out of marriage, saying only the government can manage all the issues around a marriage (& divorce). What happen to republicans being about limited government? More importantly where's God in the marriage that the religious right profess to following?

Before statutory marriage, there is common-law marriage (not the state's legal definition), which is between a man & a woman in front of God. Common-law marriages aren't legally recognized by the state, but it doesn't mean they aren't legit. We don't need the government's blessing for everything we do (because if the gov grants something, it's a privilege, not a benefit).

With a good lawyer, a couple can to do something contractual (akin to a prenup) & do whether ceremony they desire in front of witnesses (family, friends, etc). Now the couple would have to find a religious figurehead who's not a state agent (who will marry without a state marriage). Of course for those in Montana, Chuck Baldwin is available, otherwise, I bet a Taoist priestess won't require a marriage license.

Now the way for NY to legalize gay marriage was the democrats accepting the republicans proposal of religious exemption from having to marry gays. I think it's stupid given how many of religious right & Christians are the biggest hypocrites in their morals. And as state agencies, these churches will have to obey whatever government says. So, this not wanting to force the churches to do something they felt is immoral is silly.

So, with want I've learned about a statutory marriage license being an agreement that the State is the Lord & overseer of the marriage & it's fruits, am I feeling gays achieved equality? No - just an unnecessary milestone in an attempt of the modern gay activists trying to get hetero-homogenized so they can feel "normal" & validated.

On Seeing Fela Broadway Musical on the 1st day of Kwanzaa

Fela was phenomenal! And yes, it was well worth the trek to the theater district in Manhattan in a blizzard. If you're in NYC metro area, see it before it closes Jan 2nd of 2011. Otherwise, you can catch in London UK or even better, it'll be showed at the BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) Rose Cinema on Thursday, January 13th.

The musical begins with the scene "Welcome to Shrine", Fela's nightclub in Lagos, Nigeria with the "Iba Orisa" (traditional Yoruba chant). Fela Anikulapo-Kuti talks about honoring the ancestors & how they watch over us. I'm 50/50 with him on that as every ancestor is not an Elder deserving of honor as they either refuse to evolved or was a Benedict Arnold. The ancestors watch over us yes, but only The Elders amoung them deserve our reverence. Also Fela's mother, Funmilayo Anikulapo-Kuti (played by Patti LaBelle), was honored as the Elder she is. She was an activist who thought against British colonialism. The FX they did on her was nice.

The theater had the Orishas names written above it, with a painting of Fela's mom & smaller paintings of MLK, Malcolm X & I think Marcus Garvey. The performers did a great job & performances well done. And every one of the dancers from cafe-latte brown to ebony black radiate that Black is Beautiful!

As the musical processed, Fela recounts how he was influenced by American music, notably jazz & James Brown. What I didn't know is that Fela liked Afro-Cuban music (salsa). And when he combined those styles with traditional African rhythms, Afro-beat was born! Afro-beat became popular worldwide & Fela traveled the world. I particularly like the dialogue between Fela & a Black American singer named Sandra Isadore.

They had a candid discussion on how Black Americans perceive Africans & vice versa. It was interesting to learn how Black Power & Pan-Africanism influence them both. Fela said Blacks are too preoccupied with race, yet Sandra said she grew up hating the color of her skin & that in Africa, it's homogeneous Black. Sandra said she admired how Africans overthrew their white colonial oppressors. Fela counters with, yeah - to be replaced by corrupt Black ones. But Sandra reinforce to Fela, Africana unity.

So Fela used the power of his music to let the world know about the corruption in the Nigerian government & the Nigeria gov was none too happy. In fact, 1,000 Nigerian soldiers raided The Shrine, raped the women, dragged a man downstairs by his ball & destroyed the place. The greatest offense was they dragged his mother upstairs to the 2nd level & threw her out the window. Those she helped liberated, ruthlessly killed her, the tragic irony.

Fela wanted vengeance but when he prayed to the Orishas to speak to his mother & she appeared, Fela didn't because his mother would not give him permission to let him use her death for revenge. Patti LaBelle broke into a song singing it in her "soul singing style" to just let the rain fall. Symbolic of weeping, of letting the water neutralize the fire of vengeance as revenge keeps the drama going. A sista in the audience said, "go head Patti". Chuckles followed.

So what Fela did was to carry his mother's coffin straight to the Nigerian president's house. He encouraged others to do the same. And the musical ended. Yet before it ended, there was a notable scene when Fela called out some companies as "International thieves" like AIG, Haliburton, IMF & Chinese Petroleum. Oh & lastly, Fela & the ensemble held up the Black Power sign & we in the audience did the same.

In another prior scene (yes I'm trying to list all the scene I found profound), Fela mentioned that when Africans allowed Europeans into Africa, stuff turned out missing like oil, diamonds, etc & what Africa got "in exchanged" was colonialism & Jesus. The audience & I laughed. Also another pivotal scene was when Fela realized this was a game & with all games, they're rigged by those in control so that they would win (with the masses loosing) & Fela took the often overlooked choice to not play no more games.

As the Fela musical ensemble took their bows, I realized why my mother loved the 1960s so much. The 1960s was a major opening when Black Americans started to love themselves, define themselves, self-empower themselves, united as a people & take their rightful place in the global stage as world citizens. My mother admits that she thought the 1960s would last forever. She got the hint it didn't once her beloved Philly Afrocentric/political event morphed (de-evolved) into a "shake your booty" fest.

The 1970s kind of held on to that energy but as political leaders were either jailed or assassinated, that energy started fading. And once civil rights sold out for a chicken wing at the liberal establishment's kiddie table, the theme became "nigga I got mine; now nigga go get your's" - thus bringing in "elitism" to divide & conquer us - again. And then the jheri-curl came along ;-) And that was it for Black power, Black beauty & Black unity.

As we all know, it's Kwanzaa. Despite being in Oakland, CA when Kwanzaa founder Ron Karenga (yes he goes by Maulana, but that's Swahili meaning Master Teacher & he's not that; IMO, that title needs to be earned as these self-appointed titles are other form of elitism) group, United Slaves, gun downed the Black Panthers, my mother celebrates it. Despite Kwanzaa's intent with many, Karenga's sanity was questioned & still is questioned. But whether we should celebrate a holiday created by possible madman is another discussion. My issue is that we, well those partaking in Kwanzaa, say the 7 principles (Nguzo Saba) of unity, self-determination, etc, but often fall short of them like people fall short on those new year's resolutions.

Of course no one is perfect, but there's no unity (Umoja, 1st day of Kwanzaa meaning unity) within the Black community. A lot of cliques (elitism) but not unity or at least the unity envisioned & ignited in 1960s. Then there's Kujichagulia. It means self-determination. It's my mom's favorite principle in which we define ourselves. Generally speaking, we let The Matrix (mainstream media, its systems, political parties, "isms", etc) define us. Emulating celebrities or doing something because external sources (including other people) says it's cool/popular is not self-determination.

So if you chose to celebrate Kwanzaa, really do the deep questioning to living those principles instead partaking in of the lip-service I've seen in these Afrocentric gatherings I'm been to & was taken to by my mother. For example on the 4th, Ujamaa (co-op economics), do we buy black (& I mean competent black businesses as my mom & I have seen some making poor choices like a Black own restaurant w/o a sign)? On the 4th Kwanzaa day, do we consider being self-employed or stay too scared to deviate from the good-job/good-benefits/good-hours mindset programmed into us since childhood? On Nia (purpose) the 5th day, do we ask ourselves, who am I? Why am I here? Or just continue to run in that hamster wheel or in the "rat-race".

On the 6 day of Kwanzaa, Kuumba (creativity), do we honed into our creative skills? It's more possible to do so once we decide to manifest our inner passions. And Kuumba has nothing to do with keeping our community clean. That was not the theme when my mother had my sister & I celebrating Kwanzaa. It was about Creativity -- as in drawing, painting, writing, even building a toy car of Popsicle sticks, not sweeping the streets of the community. I'm guessing that Kuumba was redefine to mean "pick up the trash" for the X-box generation. But then again, from what I overstand is that Kwanzaa was supposed to counteract the gross materialism of Christmas. More importantly, our inner creativity - developing our inner creativity is defines us & is our Authentic Identity. Without our own inner creativity & the nourishing of it, we inadvertently let outsiders define us & remain on that hamster wheel or in that rat-race society created for us to feed it's parasitic existence.

Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, in a way, lived out the 7 principles of Kwanzaa. He believed in the unity germinated by the Black Power movement & Pan-Africanism. He self-defined himself & not let his country's former British colonizers define him. He "did for self" by starting his own nightclub. And of course Fela was very creative as evident in his music. Lastly for me, unlike these modern civil rights "leaders", Fela exemplifies true manhood. Not just because of his unapologetic virility, but he was not afraid to take a stand. Nothing exemplifies bravery than publicly criticizing a corrupt government system. Yet, the government isn't going to & make people live honorably within the 7 principles of Kwanzaa or any moral code. That's up to each individual & the people as a whole.

Long overdo post - I know ;)

Whether that conversation between Obama & his daughter occurred is irrelevant. What the republicans & BP did &/or didn't do is irrelevant. Not to give them a free pass, yet remember, Big Oil can buy off democrats too.

Real men, real leaders take charge & solve the problems, not go on a "blame fest" & talk & talk about the problems. This spill is awful & it nearly breaks my heart to see the environmental damage. We know BP is BSing, yet Mr Hope-and-Change tries to win American sympathies with a general phrase that's become a comedian's dream, "daddy, did you plug the hole, yet" -- & that backfired (except with the Obamites of course). What was his speech writers thinking when they added that to Obama's teleprompter?

I read Russia had similar oil spills & they used nukes to stop the spills. With this "War" on Terror, I'm sure there's a spare nuke somewhere. Ok, maybe is not a popular decision, yet it's one with a history of being effective. Obama supposedly assembled a team to look into it - just what we need - another panel discussion on how to plug the hole, instead of just plugging the hole.

Jimmy Carter mention a similar discussion he had with his daughter Amy on disarming nuclear arms. He lost to Reagan in 1980. When I saw the front cover of NY Daily News, a left-leaning newspaper criticizing Obama's handling of the oil spill, I remembered what friend of mine said. He said that Obama will be a one term president like Carter. And know what, I'm starting to believe he might be right. I just White America don't use Obama as reason to never elect a black president again...then again the exception might be with Alan Keyes (an episode of Boondocks mentioning Keyes as the exceptional Negro came across mind). If Keyed become president, I may leave the country. Lol! :)

Thanks to Kevin Jackson (The Blacksphere.net), I had the opportunity to be part of the Glenn Beck Show entitled, "Time to be Heard" - featuring a prominently African-American conservative audience. For the record, the only thing I knew about Glenn Beck was that he has a show on the Fox News cable channel well liked by conservatives, libertarians, and teaparty crowds. I even didn't know Glenn Beck called Barack Obama a racist.

Now, would I have knowing that prior to the show prevented me from going on? Of course not - because the very same people who accuse Glenn Beck of being a racist perhaps are racist themselves and the very same people who accused Beck of race-baiting perhaps are race-baiters themselves. Racist accusations are being used by those to slander others they adamently disagree with. In the minds of many socialist liberals, anyone disagreeing with them is a racist - except for the socialist liberals themselves as their egos dictate that they are so highly evolved.

I was just excited to have the opportunity to be on national TV for the 1st in my life. I was stepping out into another public medium away from my personal tweets, text messages, and emails to those in my inner social circles. I addressed the nation as a black conservative within an audience of black conservatives at the Fox News building in New York City.

Prior to relocating to New York City, I thought I would be the only black conservative in the area. I knew republicans are in NYC, but the odds of meeting blacks with a conservative mindset, I thought was very slim to none – until my assumption was proven wrong. Michael Jackson was right after all. I am not alone. It was very energizing meeting other African-Americans like myself sharing similar viewpoints and who aren’t on the Barack Obama Bandwagon...Ok, I know that’s not totally true, but this is before the show taping began - so stay with me in this moment :>).

I loved being in that presence. It was empowering. And it was an honor to meet other like-minded African-Americans. I also loved the fact that America is now seeing an entire audience of black conservatives – as opposed to just only that one lone black GOP commentator the Republican PR Dept lets out the closet to speak every now & then.

The concept of a full audience of black conservatives is avant-garde and was very much needed. Thank you, Glenn Beck & thank you to all those of the Glenn Beck show involved in the show. Because of this show, America saw that there are Black Americans who share the same conservative values as conservative White Americans. Because of this show, America saw that not all African-Americans are like what they see on BET (Black Entertainment Television) or on their local evening news. And because of this show, America saw Black Americans who are intelligent, articulate, and can speak without a teleprompter.

Each of us in the audience all had something to say – and wanted to say it! Unfortunately, time constricts hindered all of us for speaking our truths, yet this window of opportunity was presented and nearly all of us in the audience were heard and we all will be heard again.

Is Michael Jackson a Polarity Integrator?

An Energetic Synthesis Forum member posed a question. Is Michael Jackson a Polarity Integrator? Although not new, Polarity Integration actually dates back to Akhenaton in Egypt. Considered the “Heretic Pharaoh”, Akhenaton is known for trying to bring into Egypt henotheism (not monotheism, as henotheism acknowledges other deities exist and monotheism doesn’t) centered on the worship of one God, Aten (or Aton). Many Egyptologists also considered Akhenaton a hermaphrodite (based on the artistic representations of him with a protruding belly and wide hips), yet Akhenaton could have suffered from either an extra chromosome syndrome or had some other intersex condition.

Then we have Michael Jackson, who became know as “Whacko Jacko”, especially after the plastic surgeries to alter his appearance more of an androgynous and color-neutral one. Unlike Akhenaton royal upbringing, Michael Jackson did not have a childhood (“Have you seen my childhood”) as The Jackson TV movie showed Michael Jackson going straight into work (adulthood) under the force of his father, once his musical talents were realized. Michael Jackson eventually achieved royalty (celebrity status). His unification messages (We are the World, Heal the World, Black or White, etc) got spread throughout the world, yet many (those of us in USA) became more focus on Michael Jackson’s bizarreness (i.e. plastic surgeries, Neverland ranch, etc).

Polarity integration (not to be confused with government-forced integration programs) is an individual journey to unite the dichotomies within themselves. Oftentimes, depending on how deep the schisms are or if person is doing mass population/regional healing, polarity integration can be very challenging. Note that it is not about attempting to integrate anything and everything or about merging with some external forces outside of one’s self. The purpose of Polarity Integration is to unify one’s so-called good and bad sides (polarity) or to bring their polar opposites (left-right) into a trinitized union (the original union with God-Source or The Creator).

Although a metaphysical terminology, the tarot card deck might closely explain polarity integration. Temperance (XIV) is the 14^th trump or Major Arcana in the Tarot cards. Its key words and meanings are the following:

Balance
Joining forces
Equilibrium
Unification
Synthesis
Bringing together opposites

These are key words in Polarity Integration. Other meanings for the Temperance tarot is

Harmony
Moderation
Well-being
Recovery
Transcendence
Healing

So it can be implied that when one unifies their so-called good & bad sides, one transcendences extremes and becomes a whole, fully healed being. Another way to describe a Polarity Integrator is an Internal Alchemist. Outside of is meaning of transforming lead into gold, alchemy, the science or philosophy of “joining together” or “the art of transformation” dates back to Egypt (Akhenaton linkage) and is another indicator of Polarity Integration is history. For a more modern example of Polarity Integration, look at the 1982 USA film, The Dark Crystal. The urSkeks, known as noble beings of light, wantedto shed themselves of all imperfections. Using the Crystal of Truth during a Galactic alignment called the Conjunction, they accidentally split themselves into two polarized races – the benevolent urRu and the malevolent Skeksis. The Crystal of Truth is damaged and fighting occurs among the two polarized races. Prophesy predicted a Gelfling would heal the crystal, the Skeksis committed a reign of terror (including genocide of the Gelfings) to stop the Prophesy, but Jen the Gelfling destined to heal the Crystal heals the Crystal and thus reunits the polarized two races back into the one original urSkek race. From there, the urSkeks were able to ascend from the planet Thra and the movie ends. The Dark Crystal (although the Crystal color is more violet or amethyst which symbolizes transmutation) is an allegorical example of humanity’s fall into duality and the attempts to return to it original trinitized wholeness, despite the intense opposition.

So where does Michael Jackson fit into this? Michael Jackson wanted World Peace and unity (“Heal the world” and “The man in the mirror”). Akhenaton tried to unify Egypt. Michael Jackson utilized plastic surgery to have a more androgynous appearance and Akhenaton is portrayed as androgynous in Egyptian carvings. I personally feel that most of the basis of Michael Jackson’s surgery and other bizarre behaviors that got him christen as “Whacko Jacko” are largely based on distortion, part from having no childhood and the European Aesthetic of beauty embedded in the dominant media. The character of Uhura is significant as it’s one of the roles featuring a supporting Black American character who wasn’t a servant. Nichel Nichols broke ground starring as Lt Uhura in Star Trek and Zoë Saldaña nicely fills those shoes.

Nichels considered leaving the show as she described her role as a “glorified switchboard operator”, while William Shatner’s character got the most face time than all the characters. However, it was a conversation with Martin Luther King that convinced to stay on because he felt she represented a great role model for African-Americans on major TV.

Trek cynics say that Nichols’ affair with the Star Trek creator & producer, Gene Roddenberry assured her role as Uhura. Yet nevertheless, her role is crucial to Rodenberry’s vision of the future.

Nichols high point was the infamous interracial kiss, which was forced, between her character and Shatner’s, in the episode, Plato’s Children. However, the first interracial kiss on US television was between Sammy Davis, Jr. and Nancy Sinatra on the variety program Movin' With Nancy in December 1967. Also, in a prior episode, Shatner had kissed an alien played by Vietnamese-French actress France Nuyen in the episode Elaan of Troyius.

Nichols low point was that 'erotic' fan dance Star Trek V: the Final Frontier. Then again, that whole film, directed/co-written by William Shatner, is low point of all Star Trek films (meaning JJ Abrams shouldn’t be fazed if Shatner’s cameo didn’t work out). However, Zoë Saldaña can do a fan dance for me anytime and it would always be erotic! :)

In New York City, it’s all over the headlines. And no, I’m talking about Yankees baseball player, Alex Rodriguez – yet along with him in the headlines is the brutal beating of R&B singer Rihanna by her R&B singer boyfriend, Chris Brown.

Normally, I would have dodge the sensationalism of all this, since I’ve never been a fan of either of them, yet maternal familial triggers of domestic violence kept pressing on until I address & transmute them.

From media sources, it appears the Rihanna has received advice to leave Chris Brown – with a well-known one from Oprah Winfrey. Yet, Rihanna choose to take him back. Yes, yes, I know forgiveness is divine and returning to the man that beat the crap out of you is something completely different (along with doing a duet song with him). However, this is Rihanna‘s decision and she will have to face the results of that decision.

However on a greater scale, Rihanna decision this is not surprising. Domestic violence scenarios like this have happened in the past. Rihanna and Chris Brown is a repeat of the same old co-dependency program. What really got me emotionally charged was Rihanna’s parent’s response to this ordeal. Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, stated that he and other relatives (mother and brother) are unable to reach Rihanna as her contact info has changed. Accusations are speculating that someone (with Chris Brown being the prime suspect), is trying to keep Rihanna away from her family. Fenty is quoted as going “numb”. I’ve wondering what it is going to take for him and the rest of family to take action against their daughter’s silence on this situation.

Mr. Fenty, your daughter got beaten until she spitted blood and yet, you to chose to support her decision to return to the abuser. If I had a daughter and she’s gotten in a similar situation, I would go find her. Other relatives would have to come with me to hold me back just case I equally beat the crap out of the man that beat my daughter. And If my daughter come running saying “Daddy stop, I love him” or similar, I would grab her and smack that 'thug-loving/eternal strong sista victim' shit out of her. Then we would all return home. Situations like this require action. Telling the media “I am waiting on her to call me” is neither an active nor effective approach to getting in contact with your daughter, Mr. Fenty. If finances are an issue, I sure Oprah Winfrey and all the other celebrities who do not condone what Chris Brown did will assist you in tracking down your daughter. Both Chris Brown and Rihanna are adults whose decisions are to be respected, yet it doesn’t mean they should have full 100% parental approval.

Media reports also surface with bewilderment of who is looking after Rihanna. It’s obviously not her parents.

My orthodox Christian, confederate flag waving friend got Obama-tized! Forgetting all the reasons he’s against an Obama presidency as he got sucked into Obama-mania at a nearby Barack Obama rally. He almost became an Obama-maniac – until he realized he was in a trance and returned to a conscious center. This post I did on a private forum in early October in a Metaphysical forum that transcends the New Age. Another friend of mine convinced me to share this and I feel now he’s correct on this as many are swept away on a belief that Barack Obama was save them. ----Rafiq

Is Barack Obama part of the False Prophet Program?

Take this information as a point of awareness in these changing times if it resonates with you, yet I feel that Barack Obama is part of the False Prophet/Guru program the Controllers are implementing. On Sunday, September 28, 2008, I had this dream that people were getting implanted at an Obama Rally. These eye/oval shaped implants looked viral and were stamped on everyone in attendance by hands with stampers. No one knew they were being stamped (implanted) as I watched this. As I made a mad dash out of that rally, a hand comes out of nowhere and stamps my lower back – right before I woke up. Of course I wasn’t happy about being implanted, but I admitted to myself that I got bitten by the Obama bug (which carries a viral implant). It was when I visited my mother & sister 2 weeks ago. They insisted I watch his speech accepting the Democratic nomination. It was inspirational. I was so moved, I accepted the implant, the Seal of a Follower – which is gone now via a Solar Magnetic ray I summoned from the Galactic Core.

The lesson here is that implantation from the Controller forces aren’t limited to New Age events, yet a correlation here is that many in the New Age Community (including Oprah Winfrey) supports Barack Obama for president and cites his leadership as ‘evolved’. In addition, there are channeled materials saying Barack Obama is part of Galactic Federation of Light and the Ashtar Command. From the beginning of Barack Obama’s presidential run, I saw no substance in him and still don’t. Obama keeps regurgitating ‘change’ and ‘hope’ – and as far as the channel materials saying he’s with both the Galactic Federation of Light and the Ashtar Command, I will leave that ‘out there’ as those cosmic organizations are. It took the theatrics of the DNC to get me moved for “change I can believe in”. However, ‘to believe’ in something is NOT the same as ‘knowing’ it. R Kelly sung he believed he could fly, yet if he decided to jump off a roof of a tall building, gravity will let him know he can’t fly! Change is the only thing consistent in life. People who are religious often believe in the dogmas of their holy books (i.e. the term Religious Beliefs). Muslims believe there’s only one God, Allah, and Prophet Mohammad is his messenger. Jews believe One G-d created the world and gave them a Torah, while Christians believe that God who sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins via crucifixion. In this forum, it has been clearly stated that the crucifixion is a cruci-fiction. This we know! Outside of this forum, books by Jordan Maxwell (The Book the Church does not want you to Read) and Walter Williams (The Historical Origin of Christianity & The Historical Origin of Islam) states that religion is more myth than fact – with the historical data to back it up so that we’ll know it!

To believe is to hold dear that something or someone outside of us will make everything alright and to accept something as truth – without any discernment or research or knowing it’s true.

To know is to perceive directly, clearly, and beyond a doubt – usually from experience, comprehension, and discernment.

Yet, people still want to believe in someone outside of themselves who will save them and tell them everything will be ok – whether it’s the guru or a starship. Obama rallies and many New Age gatherings are optimistic, motivating, and speak of hope, yet underneath the feel-good vibes of rainbows, flowers, and a “change we can believe in”, is nothing of concrete substance. For all we know, Obama with his ‘evolved’ leadership could lead the USA gently into NWO/OWO in the name of knowing what’s good for us as we wear those rosy-colored glasses of ‘hope’? Have anyone of supporters pulled his voting record in Congress to get an idea of the ‘change’ he promises? We know McCain’s history from his years in Congress. McCain is capitalizing off of his experience in hopes of winning the election as he lacks that Obama appeal, yet his experience suggests George W Bush Round 3 – and note how McCain is he’s saying he has the knows DC from his experience in comparison to Obama’s “Change we Believe In”. Other media outlets discuss how Barack Obama is being portrayed as the Messiah or Savior and one artist did a sculpture portraying Obama as the new Jesus. Furthermore, I disagree with Obama linkages to Martin Luther King (particularly in those “Keeping the Dream Alive” T-Shirts). Obama has the oratory skills as MLK did, but that doesn’t translate into MLK’s leadership or strong leadership skills entirely. The dominant media described Obama nomination speech on anniversary of King’s historic “I have a Dream” speech as “a fateful quirk of scheduling”. I never saw that as coincidental. In fact, I think this was planned and of course the press talked about how the DNC stage resembled the Greek Mt Olympus Temple (as some called “The Barackopolis”).

This doesn’t mean I support McCain because I don’t. This doesn’t mean I supported Hillary Clinton, because I didn’t. It’s just this savior PR campaign around Obama seems more like hot air. I could be incorrect in this, but the implantation in dreamtime is confirming my suspicions about Barack Obama – even after I almost got on the Obama bandwagon of hope.

The only person who can & will ‘save’ me is me (my I AM/Soul Identity) and one man can’t save the USA, only Americans (waking up from 3-D realm of illusions and no longer looking for a leader) can save the USA. So, in the meantime, I’m looking forward to a “change I will know” from within as opposed to a “change we can believe”, from the external, but will never know if it can be delivered.

NYC Had that Halloween Spirit

I chose to sit out Halloween because 1) I was low on funds and 2) I wasn’t feeling the Halloween spirit. Yet, as I was riding NYC transit, I saw people dressed up for Halloween going trick-or-treating or to parties, I kind of wished I did. I guess was no festivities for Halloween in Atlanta, GA or at least festivities I could get to w/o a car. My friend Dominique Huff told me Atlanta Police were writing speeding tickets. If people were trying to have fun for Halloween, they got a sour note if caught be APD. It was nice to see people actually dressed up and going out - no matter what's occurring in the economy.

Wolfe’s Pond Park taught me that I can have my cake and eat it to

People often think of New York City as the metropolis of steel and concrete. Yet nested in Staten Island, one of five Boroughs that comprises NYC, is parks wooded trails, wetlands, and beaches.

My spiritual growth, relaxation, and ease of mind requires communing in natural areas. Even though I love New York City, at times I need to be totally submerged in nature. With the exception of Pelham Bay Park in The Bronx, I’ve been to the main parks in New York City, including Central Park in Manhattan, Prospect Park in Brooklyn, and Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens.

I really wasn’t impressed with Flushing Meadows as its 2 lakes are between interstate highways and it’s hard to contemplate & meditate with the sounds of traffic around you. The part of Flushing Meadows near Shea Stadium, where the famous World Fair Unisphere is located is ok. Central Park has nice scenery, including the lake, and I love going there for the free SummerStage Music concerts, but I wasn’t feeling it from an innate tip. Prospect Park was the 1st park I’ve visited and I love it the best out of Central and Flushing Meadows Parks. Prospect Park’s trails and lakes with a running waterfall won me over. Yet, however, all these parks, including Pelham Bay Park in The Bronx are manmade.

I didn’t think about this at time, but my Higher Self was trying to lead me to a more nature pristine area to reflect and clear my head. South of Manhattan Island is Staten Island, one of the five Boroughs I haven’t been to yet. Last Saturday, the idea came to me to visit it, yet the question was WHERE & WHAT in Staten Island to visit. I know Staten Island has a mall (Staten Island Mall), but making a 2 hour trip (MTA NYC public transit does go through Staten Island) to just see a mall was an idea I wasn’t aligned with. From looking at the MTA map, it looked like Staten Island had some nature areas, so I search the internet and Wolfe’s Pond Park in the South Shore of Staten island caught my attention.

Wolfe’s Pond Park has a Nature-Made freshwater pond and a beach! That was something unheard of for me. So, I decided to go there Sunday. With NYC’s mass transit system, I had different ways of getting there. Since I am in Brooklyn, I took the train to Fort Hamilton section in Brooklyn for the Staten Island bus that crosses the bridge that connects the two Boroughs, the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Staten Island, to me, seems more like a Suburban Island with strip malls and suburban style homes. It’s said that wealthy families settled there 1st. Once I got to the park, I saw the manmade recreational areas, yet once I saw the beach, I headed straight there! Away from the well manicure glass was rocks, sand, sea shells, and seagulls. Some parts of the beach one can walk barefooted, yet another parts had too many rocks & sea shell parts that required shoes. I wore my waterproof boots as intuition strongly suggested (it was right as Wolfe Pond park has some hiking trails).

It was nearing Energetic Synthesis Weekly Sunday Meditation, yet I decided to keep walking the beach area – until I found a quarry of rocks. I found several rocks sit and lie on. With the light tidal waves of the Raritan Bay, the seagulls, and the bell buoys as my music, I began to meditate. It felt like I was anchoring some powerful energies. People walked by, but I didn’t care as I sat upright on one rock, then went to another to sat in yogic position, to finally going to another rock to lie flat down on. A bee disturbed me briefly along with mental chattering, but it felt like I brought down a columned surge of energy down to me. Then, Culture Club’s Karma Chameleon starts to blast. Eventually, I found out AA was at the park end having an event. I took it as my queue to end the meditation.

I walked down the beach into a path I saw an elderly couple crossed though to get to beach. I decided to take that path and in 5 minutes, I was at the pond. It was culture shock as I’m used to wooded park/trails areas being separate from beaches. Training in being Multi-dimensional, maybe? I was still able to see the beach area and some of seagulls landed on the pond with the other birds (ducks, geese, and swan – yes, I got to see my 1st swan). The squirrels got on my nerves though. Lunch tables surrounded the pond and while I was eating the squirrels kind of surrounded me and one got close to my food when I left it to run see a swan. I moved away to the tables furthest from the pond.

Once I finished eating, I went to walk the trail aligned with the pond. It was great with the tallest trees and the reddest leaves fallen on the ground signaling autumn’s here. AA was still having there event, yet as I got deeper into the woods, I heard less of the music, but I started to hear traffic as Hylan Blvd separates the North and South end of the Park. Traffic wasn’t bad as it was Sunday and at least Hylan Blvd isn’t an interstate. The Pond and Beach are on the South end and is most visited of course. I was able to sit and contemplate in front of the pond looking at the lily pads. There also a creek that connects to the pond and I stood there for awhile, until I decided to return to the city.

I decided to not go back to the beach (still in culture shock…multi-dimensionally living requires integration), but I decided to take the Staten Island railroad to the St George Station where I can take the Staten Island Ferry back to Manhattan. The walk was kind of lengthy, but not bad, yet I had to hurry as a train was nearing and I didn’t want to wait another hour for one. Once I arrived at St George, I boarded the Ferry and saw some great views of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Manhattan Island – yet the best view for me was below – at the ocean of the Upper New York Bay. It was just very calming for me. People were taking pictures of Manhattan, but I could spend the entire 22 minute ferry ride looking at the water (it’s a Pisces thing).

Wolfe’s Pond Park and Beach is the best nature retreat I’ve been too thus far! Now, I still love Far Rockaway Beach in Queens, yet the rocky terrain of Wolfe’s Pond Beach allows for less traffic, making it seem like I have the entire beach to myself. It’s said that the Park is haunted as sightings of abducted murdered children and two teenagers killed in car crash in the pond are part of lore, yet I think with higher energies coming in and the energies I brought in assisted in clearing those traumatic energies. Some woman I talked with said Elves live in the park. I don’t know about that, but hopefully some new Earth elementals are there as well. I’m definitely going back. Next time, I hope I’m there when AA or some other group isn’t having an event.

The idiom “You can’t have one’s cake & eat it too” means you can’t have it both ways, but with Wolfe’s Pond Park’s Lake, hiking trails, recreational facilities and tits beach, I can have my cake and eat it to. And that I did as that is Multi-dimensional living!

No More Meetup Groups for Me

After attending 2 distinct, yet disastrous Meetup.com group meetings, I had the final one with a NY Social Group. No, this wasn’t NYC Writers Group, in which I blogged about already (See An Apology to NYC Writers Circle for the Typo and Misunderstandings and Beyond Worst: Evening Gone South with NYC Writers Group and Unintended Conversations). That NYC Writers Meetup.com Group evening was bad because the venue double booked it with another Writers’ group. The moderator cancelled the event. Yet, however, I got the moderator’s cancellation/apology email AFTER I attended it. I blogged about it, made a typo, didn’t catch the typo before I let moderator know about the blog, she read it, and then she removed me from the group. I was sadden, and then pissed. Even though I tried rectified my mistake in my blog and in an email to the moderator, it seemed like my ego or whatever wouldn’t let it go. So I say now to let it go… The moderator said, there are other Writer Groups out there, yet I’m not seeking them out, because trying to find a group niche or circle doesn’t work for me – and I’m completely done with Meetup groups!

The 1st NYC Meetup group I joined was job networking group, which was more meetings about how “hard it is to find a job” than actually job leads. I’ve never attended them as they seemed a waste of my time. The 2nd NYC Meetup group revolved around electronic dance music. This group went through several moderators as the turnover was significant. This group had an event prior to July 4th weekend event and it was under-attended and awful as I wasn’t feeling the music. Furthermore, I was pissed because I paid $20 to go that ‘event’, while I’ve been to events I thoroughly enjoyed and paid no cover. I rated that event poorly on the group. Next was NYC Writers Group, in which I’ve already discussed. Then, there is my final Meetup Group, the NYC Social group event. I was a member of it via joining the NYC job networking group. They had their event at a Middle Eastern lounge near Madison Square Gardens. Since 200+ people RSVP yes, I decided to go as I might network and meet some potential friends – well the exact opposite happened.

Ok, my beige jacket isn’t ‘trendy’, yet a $2 coat check?!? It ain’t like I had on an Inuit/Eskimo coat, yet I reluctantly paid the $2 coat and secretly vowed to not buy anything else there until further notice (if the event is turns out well enough for me to indulge). Also, for the Middle Eastern theme place, why did it have Hindu/Buddhist statues? This Chinese statue looked like a Quan Yin, while others resembled Hindu deities.

I GOT ACCUSED OF HOVERING OVER HER
This small place was packed – perhaps to make it seem like it’s happening, but I don’t know! I saw this woman obvious by herself. She seemed to know no one, so I decided to be nice and talk with her. After making some small talk, she blotted out, “WHY YOU HOVERING OVER ME?” "YOU'RE HOVERING OVER ME!" I was cramped out in this mismatched theme place with a $2 mandatory coat check and it was hard to position myself to have a face-to-face conversation with her. It was either ‘hovering’ over her or face her backside. In shock, I went to face her backside. She said that was better, I agreed with her, and moved on. Free appetizers were brought out and I helped myself! I had to compensate for $2 I paid for a bad evening.

This talented cover band performed. I didn’t think they fit the venue’s mismatched theme, but when they performed Patsy Cline’s “I fall to pieces”, it was time for me to go.

Guys Trying to Meet Girls
I talked with some people and they were okay. Once guy was about to leave to go to another party. I told him how under-whelmed about this one. He said I should stay to talk to some of the girls. Oh Heck No! Been there! Done that! It was called – “Hovering”. In fact, the event seemed more of a man’s conquest for the booty and I’m not talking about the buried treasure pirates of lore sought out either. There’s nothing wrong with that. I just disagree with the methods and venues normally used. Since this was a social networking event, I had more professional intentions.

Spontaneous Connections and Networking
Trying to meet people has turned out disastrous for me. Yet when not trying to meet people, I met people. I would go to events I know I would like based on the music, the food, the venue, etc – all in which I’ve attended in the past and enjoyed, but the meetup groups I’ve dealt with, have turned sour. I get an email to rate the event. I see many like it. I didn’t, yet I decided to rate it “Neutral” as I really didn’t feel like going into a rant. However, I remove myself from the all remaining Meetup groups I was in; deactivated Meetup.com notice alerts, and remove myself from Meetup.com altogether. I’m sure Meetup Groups served their purposes and that people have enjoyed themselves in them. However, Meet Groups aren’t for me.

Oh…and the Bouncers didn’t enforce the $2 mandatory coat/bag check on all the patrons as I saw people with their coats and bags on. This was another sour note for the evening!

And a funny thing is that I think NYC Writers Group moderator was there! We never met in person. We seen each others’ photo of our Meetup.com profile, but I saw a woman that could have been her. She smiled at me, while I said to myself, “This cannot be” – and it won’t because it’s no more Meetup Groups for me.

I feel for her because she truly BELIEVED the message from the Galactic Federation of Trite about that UFO sighting would take place. I overstand completely how it feels to be had and to be made a dumbass (although not on a worldwide level). Blossom Moonchild BELIEVED the UFO was going to show up October 14th. Others BELIEVED the UFO was going to come too. That's why I don't want to believe in any thing. No more belief systems, which includes cults, religions and UFO worshippers.

As Karen Bishop in her e-alert, What's Up on Planet Earth, no starship is going to save you. The moment is now to discard ALL belief systems and start to KNOW if something is true or not.

Some people are saying the great thing is that people gathered and opened their hearts to something grander than themselves for more Love & Light to spread. No UFOs appeared on October 14th, but many other prophecies have come true. For the first time ever, we reveal some of our own that we hid on the Internet — until now!

WE ARE WRITING THIS THE NIGHT BEFORE
I started working on this post on Monday, October 13th, the day BEFORE the latest in an ongoing chain of date-specific channeled prophecies comes and goes without incident. It’s now 4:44 am, ironically, as I publish it. For those who were really looking forward to this happening, I’m sorry to say that the news is not going to change today. There will be no mass UFO sighting.
I’ve taken some time away from Part Five of my 2012 Politics series to address this particular issue, in response to all the emails I would otherwise get asking me why nothing happened.
In the decade I’ve been online, I’ve probably never had as much of an issue on my hands as I’ve had with the October 14th emails. A typical day’s load has included five to ten October 14th emails, per day, for at least the last month now.

The last time a specific date attracted this much attention was May 15, 2003, when many Internet channelers rose to support Nancy Lieder’s initial prophecy that "Planet X" would swing past the Earth and cause a pole shift, destroying the majority of all life here in the process. Many people wrote me and were absolutely convinced this was going to happen, and got very upset that I did not support the prophecy and / or was not doing more to tell the world.

Tonight’s post is partly my celebration of the fact that once the 14th has passed, such emails will almost completely stop coming in, except for those asking me why the big event failed to materialize. If you sent me such an email, I have directed you to this link so I can give you a fuller explanation of this issue without having to repeat myself.

It has been draining to answer so many letters asking me exactly the same thing, even though I’ve now given my opinion in at least two different audio blogs as well as Part IV of my crop circle piece. I am very relieved that this situation is finally about to end, and I am sincerely sorry for all those people who will feel let down or disappointed when nothing happens.

The October 14th prophecy upset does not in any way discredit the seriousness or the validity of the UFO phenomenon. The sad fact is that the vast majority of people studying UFOs are unaware of the laws by which the ETs govern themselves — laws that make it impossible for such an event to occur at this stage in our planetary game.

These laws are written into the primordial essence of the Universe itself, and therefore cannot be contravened. As you awaken to your true identity as the One Infinite Creator, you discover that free will is the most important principle that governs our Universe. It is a principle that the entire Universe is set up to insure will not be violated beyond the level to which it is invited.

IT WOULD BE A TRAGEDY
Such a mass visitation, at this stage in our planetary game, would be an absolute tragedy — an irreversibly vast insult to the free will of the overwhelming majority of people on Earth who would see it as a horrific and terrifying event, based on their Hollywood movie conditioning. It would also be a disaster for the person who brought the prophecy through, on several different levels, with many unintended consequences.

One major problem is that if the purported UFO appeared and revealed itself in some way as a positive influence, and was welcomed by even a small percentage of humanity, then the "Federation of Light" responsible for this visitation would have effectively anointed the Earth with a new Messiah.

The person who generated this prophecy would be instantly elevated to Godlike status, ushering in the most important and influential spiritual event on Earth since the Hegira of Mohammed at the "Wailing Wall", or even the Ascension of Jesus in Jerusalem.

However, in either of these cases humanity did not see a wide-scale manifestation of the spiritual forces behind these great teachers — only paranormal events associated with the individuals themselves.

THE UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES OF OCTOBER 14TH
I watched "Blossom Goodchild" in her video describing her prophecy and have no doubt that she is a wonderful lady with a great personality and a lot to offer. I can also say that 10 years of ever-increasing publicity as a spiritual teacher shows me that she obviously hasn’t thought through what would actually happen to her if this prophecy came true.

As one example, she would be in extreme risk of assassination from millions of religious fundamentalists who would see this ship as a manifestation of Satan, and therefore see her as the long-awaited Antichrist. However, it would be the "believers" that would bother her even more. She couldn’t appear in public without literally being torn apart by people grabbing at her clothes as she tries to press through.

Ra-Ta was elevated to the status of a god among his people. Although he was only the liaison for Ra, people came to see him as the embodiment of Ra in human form. The Illuminati tradition is still affected by this historic misunderstanding, since they adopted much of the distorted Egyptian mystery-school teachings.

This unique status led to great conspiracies plotted against Ra-Ta, according to the Cayce Readings. Long before we’d ever heard of the Clinton scandal, the Cayce Readings described how Ra-Ta was set up to sleep with another woman, the gorgeous temple dancer Isris, by his opponents. Once he went through with it, they attacked him, Swift Boat style, for going against his own spiritual principles.

These long-lost cousins of the Republican Party were able to get Ra-Ta banished from Egypt. He eventually returned, and was invited back to his former position because ignorance and lawlessness had returned to the people.

Ra-Ta increasingly traveled ‘abroad’ — not just on Earth — and when he came back from these trips he found that his temples had been turned into ‘sexual playgrounds’. He himself eventually succumbed to the forces of ego, pride and vanity, and enjoyed a variety of different female partners.

According to both the Cayce Readings and the Law of One series, this indiscretion caused Ra-Ta to become karmically entrapped on Earth and stay here until the end of the cycle. Further mistakes caused him to endure a series of lifetimes "without the distortions towards power".

So, being the head of the "ground crew" in the midst of a major UFO contact with humanity is not all it’s cracked up to be. You can easily accrue karma, get stuck for 11,000 years, and end up inadvertently fathering a nasty cult like the Illuminati. Been there, done that.
So let’s be glad the ETs are smart enough not to show up on call like this and further disrupt our free will, and the stability of future timelines.

My own work to expose the Illuminati is part of the atonement I do for having this vibrational similarity to the key historical figure that inadvertently created the problem in the first place. By revealing myself as the anonymous author of The Changing of the Guard, I now feel I’ve done my part.

THE ROUTINE

Getting back to October 14th, most of these emails were exceedingly short. A vast majority have come in on my Myspace account, which I openly admit I am less likely to answer than email.
Almost all of these emails had "October 14th" in the title, written with the same sense of devotion and love that Christians say "Jesus," and not much else. I had compassion for these folks, as many of them had only recently started learning about UFOs, and now their wildest wish was coming true — a completely game-changing mass sighthing that would blow out the UFO cover-up, and the Illuminati, in one fell swoop.

Most of them were so swept up in the mythology that all they said was, "What do you think is going to happen on October 14th?" I am proud to say I did not resort to boilerplate responses and wrote something unique each time I decided to answer one of these letters. Notice the use of the word ‘decided,’ as I definitely cannot answer all my email.

Here is one random example taken out of a wide variety there are to choose from. This is one of a variety of letters indicating that "many" Internet channelers have staked their credibility on this prophecy. In fact, another email said "almost every channeler out there is supporting this prophecy":

Hello Mr. Wicock, I’m sure you are a very busy guy and I appreciate your reading this.
Do you know anything about October the 14th, 2008? I have come across rumours on the internet of open contact by extraterrestrial beings, in the form of a large ufo manifesting in our skies for three days, taking place on this date.

The reason I am asking you about this is that it seems this message was channelled by many, and was hoping you could shed some light on this potentially momentous leap forward in consciousness.

Several of these emails pointed out that the "light ship" was expected to be two thousand miles wide, and would hover in the Southern Hemisphere for three days, effectively eliminating any doubt of the UFO presence to humanity for the first time.

A further insight into the "cosmic joke" aspect of this prophecy was that the word "Alabama" was associated with this prophecy, without further comment — "We give you the word Alabama" — even though Alabama is obviously in the Northern Hemisphere.

The word "Alabama" refers to a particular tribe of American Indians from Muskogee descent whose proper name is Albaamaha, and their language is also called Albaamaha. The American state of Alabama was obviously named after this tribe.

There is, of course, a connection between American Indian spirituality and the UFO presence, but I am not aware of any unique UFO contact story related to the Albaamaha tribe. Hence, several writers saw this as a rather embarrassing gaffe on behalf of the channel.

[Update: Some people have been trying to claim that a geometric pattern over the North Pole on Google Earth is actually a UFO, and therefore rescue the October 14th prophecy this way. This pattern is simply an imaging artifact based on how the satellites carve up the Earth into regions, and photograph them at different times. Since regions like the North Pole change less frequently, they may tend to have older imaging. The apparent lines of this formation are just caused by the differences in cloud patterns.]

LET’S NOT FORGET…
All that being said, the simple fact is that a very real ‘quickening’ is happening to all life on Earth as we approach a major celestial event in 2012. This is a major theme in the Law of One series. So even as October 14th is a bust, let’s not lose sight of the big picture.

The Cayce Readings also predicted an event like this without focusing in on a specific date, per se. I have spoken with multiple black-ops witnesses who have personal knowledge of the vast data suggesting that something very real, and very profound, will happen in this time period.
This celestial event will change life on Earth as we know it far more dramatically than most people could ever imagine — and it also creates profound, ever-increasing effects on an individual and a collective level as we get closer to the primary moment.

This event is not something we speculate about with no evidence. There is a very clear and consistent stream of data suggesting that our Solar System is moving into a new region of the galaxy that has a higher energetic charge. As I wrote in Part One of the 2012 Politics article, the most obvious physical evidence is that the entire Solar System is going through climate change similar to what we see on Earth.

October 14, 2008 is supposed to be the day the Earth was supposed to see a massive starship from the Galactic Federation of Light, the Pleidians, and/or the Ashtar Command. New Age message boards posted the channeled message and some YouTube enthusiasts did videos about this day of “First Contact”, while others felt in their Hearts that this is so true. They are probably still looking out their windows now – right now – at every cloud hoping it’s a starship.

Well, I hate to bust the New Age buddle...actually, I don’t – yet however, Linus of the Charlie Brown Peanuts cartoons, has a greater change of seeing The Great Pumpkin of Halloween than the New Age Space Cadets have of seeing that 14-Oct-08 spaceship. I bet these are the same people who got ‘fired up’ about the grid. Personally, I sensed 14-Oct-08 was a bunch of bullshit, but I didn’t come out and say it that bluntly...well until now! To question or point out inconsistencies of... all that's the Light is making a “Judgment” according to the New Age, yet the fact remains...There is NO 2,000 mile long starship in plain sight anywhere in the world.

A 2,000 mile long spaceship as stated will be seen in Earth’s skies roughly covers the entire North American continent. Others suggested the name of the Starship is Alabama. I already discussed the etymology of Alabama in my Blog “Why Alabama Galactic Federation of Light?”. It’s of Native American origin roughly meaning “clearing the thicket”. So, this means that the Galactic Federation of Light was supposed to show us a Landscaping Starship. Big Whoop!

Yesterday, I saw Bill Maher’s film, Religulous. Yes, Maher’s film is Politically Incorrect in discussing the belief systems of the major 3 religions, but the quote that stood out for me is “Religion is detrimental to the progress of society.” This applies to this New Age mentality of keeping your heads in the clouds for starship to Save the Day as well. Last weekend was my unexpected free excursions into the NYC New Age. I was invited to see Sai Maa speak. I knew nothing about her, except that she's a spiritual leader from India. I also knew absolutely nothing about the Diamond of Divinity and Aniruddhan except that he was involved with John of God in Brazil. Don't even ask me about John of God…I had no clue on him either.

Is Wearing White Mandatory?

Friday evening, began my visit to Humanity in Unity presenting The Mystical Embrace of Energy Healing with Sai Maa at Landmark on the Park (a church/banquet by Central Park). I arrived before my friend did, so I looked around. It was mostly women wearing white outfits (one day, I'm going to a New Age event wearing black leather like Neo in the Matrix trilogy). I asked one of coordinators if wearing white is mandatory and she said no, just come with an open heart. However, the stage was covered in white. The chair (for Sai Maa) was covered in white drapery along with the tables/altars with white candles and pictures of Sai Baba, Jesus, El Morya, Paramahansa Yogananda, and Sai Baba (Sai Maa’s mentor) – all sandwiched between two big bouquets of white flowers. To the right was the slide projector showing what I think is the best Higher Self/I AM Presence picture I've seen. It's the one with the dolphins on the right & left of the Ascending human. It seems Sai Maa has a thing for Dolphins, so I could relate as I do to, yet it was still Shielding time.

Possible Idolatry?

I checked out the display of products to buy in the back. I was impressed with the 'Violet Flame in a bottle' which is a flower essence charged in Amethyst and other gemstones (depending on the toxicity & people volume of the office, one might go through a bottle quickly). Sai Maa even had charged water. Reminding me of the $30 Kabbalah Centre water from a Canadian Municipal plant, I had to inquire about the water. I was told it’s charged, its Artesian, and its $12 per bottle. Ok, so at least it’s not outrageous as Kabbalah Centre water and Humanity in Unity didn't make any claims it cures cancer. So moving right along to the books on & by Sai Maa, there were photos of her. The one photo that caught my attention was the one of Sai Maa holding beads. The beads were like a necklace of rosary beads and the photo was hand/wrist and naval shot with beads. "Why would anyone buy on photo of someone holding beads?" I asked. I was told it was a preference of some to buy that and they also had the beads. A photo of Sai Maa holding the beads, I can dig, but only hands & beads, I can't. It reminded me of a picture I saw of the Dali Lama's feet (still clueless on the foot fetish). After I looked around, I went to find a seat. The people were very pleasant and seemed to be on the path to enlightenment. Once my friend came, we got VIP seating in the front. Sai Maa has reserved seating for newcomers. One of the Sai Maa ushers wanted to have this other newcomer sit in the front. She asked if the others could slide down, so she can seat at the end seat. This other woman refused to give up her seat! I didn’t hear the whole story as I was trying not to (I was in this row), but I was rather perplexed. The usher just decided to sit in middle of row, while the other newcomer sat on the end seat.

Longwinded Meditation cut Short, Sai Maa Enters

Before Sai Maa came out, her students came out and spoke, a man and two women. They said some things I agreed with – particularity on dis-ease and how the body can heal itself. However, the last mediation one of ladies lead us in was getting longwinded – like those Reverend/Pastor prayers that began with benediction for the eating a meal that transpire into the children who can't eat the food, to the children of the world who can eat the food, to the children of the world who can't eat the food, connecting somehow to Policymakers in the USA & Abroad, and the parents of the children who can/can't eat the food across the globe – onto world peace. That meditation got cut short as Sai Maa was ready to make her presence. Sai Maa entered from the back. I thought she was going to enter from the stage. The people all stand up with hands in prayer stand to the heart and heads bow. Sai Maa greets all walking up to the stage in the same stance. She wearing all white (a silk sari-like outfit I think) with a lei. As Sai Maa gets to the front, there were 2 Jewish guys in the front row; she seemed to know the older one as she was really glad to see him.

Sai Maa Speaks, Some Understand, Some Only Listened

Sai Maa, as she made her way to the stage and sat down, she told us that she loved us all. I didn’t buy it. What can I say? I’m not bold enough to tell a whole bunch of strangers I love them. Nevertheless, what I did like was that Sai Maa distinguished Unconditional Love (from Source) from Conditional Love (with strings attached). That’s not often done in the New Age as it’s all about “The Love”. Sai Maa talked about letting go and asked the audience what they had trouble letting go of. One woman stated her issue. Sai Maa gave an analogy which I understood, but when Sai Maa asked the woman if she understood, the woman said, “I am listening.” Sai Maa hoped the woman would understand and moved on. She brought up how she sensed doubts in the audience and it seemed like there were people in the audience more doubting than I.Heart Center on Fire, but I didn’t participated in the Healing Sessions Sai Maa talked about The Aura and the I AM Presence. In the slide show, she had a slide of an imbalanced Aura which had holes or halfway shined. She went over some meditations to heal the imbalanced aura. My Heart Chakra was on fire – not raging inferno, but more like a pilot light – the eternal flame of The Bangles song. Sai Maa had volunteers from the audience come to the stage to demonstrate how we can heal ourselves and then had the audience break out into healing sessions. I refused to participate as I remembered a recent conversation I had with a friend of mine of on a healing session he had with healer who turned out to be an unconscious energetic vampire.

Sai Maa said she’s not the Saviour and I like the Rabbi too

Sai Maa said the time of the Saviour or the Messiah doing the work for us is over and she’s only here to tell us we’re our own gurus. I was glad to hear that. Before Sai Maa left the stage, she gave the older Jewish guy in the front row a birthday lei. He’s a Rabbi with a birthday coming up and someone had a cake for him. He got up and spoke about there being one God. Since it was the start of the Jewish Sabbath, he started singing “Shabbat Shalom” which is “Have a peaceful Sabbath”. It’s similar to “Namaste” in which Sai Maa said. Sai Maa sung along with him. It was so touching to see two different spiritual leaders coming together like that. We all stood up as Sai Maa and the Rabbi walked off. Sai Maa said she like Rabbi and I like him too (even though I don’t even know his name). Sai Maa did confirm some things for me. She pronounced chakra (chak-ra) [chuhk-ruh] correctly. However, I wasn’t feeling that’ll be 10 years for we get into our throat chakras (while folks are presently working on their heart chakras). Speaking my truth is now IMO. 10 years later is 6 years after 2012. What I like to see is Sai Maa speaking at more churches as at least she could get Christians out of the crucifixion and into John 10:34 & St Luke 17:2.

Aniruddhan's Diamond of Divinity Free Group Healing

The Diamond of Divinity FREE Group Healing was facilitated by Aniruddhan who lives in Brazil. The energy which he calls ‘The Diamond” manifested while Aniruddhan was spending time with John of God. Aniruddhan says the Diamond energy works holistically with consciousness and is heals uniquely with each person. Since I had a thing for diamond structures (or diamond energy…either way it’s via Energetic Synthesis), I decided to attend this. There was 2 sessions on Saturday and Sunday. I attended the 1st Saturday one.

Now the Stages of the Healing are the following: 1) Release, 2) Clearing, 3) Rejuvenation, 4) Manifestational Peace, and 5) Crystal waterfall of lights cleansing. It took place at The Meta Center near Penn Station. The place was nice and had some very comfortable pillows, I saw people doing the yoga/Buddhist meditation posture on. Aniruddhan said the Diamond energy can be heavy and suggest we might want to lie down. He was wearing all white and had a hippy look about him (long hair & beard). Aniruddhan did stated that their needs to be a balance of positive & negative energies, which I did like because other groups (both spiritual & religious), seem to go over the top in positivity. It felt like a Hammer was pounding inside my head and I snoredSo Aniruddhan starts to bring in the Diamond Energy. I am shielded with the energetic filter – that allows all in my soul alignment in, while filtering & returned to sender all crap. During the meditation, it felt like a hammer was being smash inside my head repeatedly (ego mountain being jack hammered maybe…). I had this feeling occasionally during my solo meditations, but this intensified at the Group Healing. I was guiding the energy for my Divine Correction. Later on during the meditation, I was feeling tried and decided to lie down on those comfy pillows – pillows so comfy, I feel asleep! I was in & out. In the dreamtimes, I remembered vaguely some strange entities/energies. So at the crystal waterfall of lights stage, I tried to sit in yoga/Buddhist posture visualizing a turquoise crystal river flowing --like Niagara Falls (small waterfalls aren’t enough for me). The meditation was about 75 minutes long. I woke up in slow-motion. As I left, I told I snored. I was a little embarrassed, but no one seemed to care.I had to be confronted with the Densest Energy afterwards. I called the friend of mine who invited me to these events after the Diamond Healing. I was in slow-motion with other plans I wanted to follow. My friend advised I go home soon as I had 2 back-to-back activations that could leave me open to energies less...love & light. In addition, I realized later on this coincides with Energetic Synthesis stressing setting aside time to integrate those Divine downloads, but instead, I decided to pursue my other plans – but I altered/minimized them as I was in slow-mo. Well, my peace got interrupted on the train as 3 street performers decided to take the subway back to the Motown sound. I was annoyed. Then, a homeless man decided to stand near me smelly up my space. I moved to the other side to find another homeless person with bad odor near me. Yes, it’s NYC, but this was odd after I was still in Diamond Recovery. The particular NYC subway I rode wasn’t stopping at the train station I needed to get off at, so I had to get off the expressed stop to get a local train going back the opposite direction. How about I took another express train back to the halfway point? After having to wait for express train to go to the express train station, I switch back over to the local train. I found the restaurant, I wanted to eat at. It’s a healthy, vegetarian place in Forest Hills, Queens called Tierra Sana. The food was great, but my poached eggs were more hard boiled than poached. When the owner asked how was my food, I told him about the eggs and he brought me another plate (2 healthy meals for the price of 1, I dig that). So, I leave the restaurant for the train and missed the train I thought I didn’t need to take, but needed to take anyway. I get to my other destination, not too much in slow-mo, but tired from the food. So far so good, but going back to the subway station, I had to take the elevator as the escalator was closed for repairs. Once the elevator doors opened, I smelled fresh urine and saw a homeless woman zipping up. So, that was it! And no, I didn’t go on the elevator. I went across the street to the other subway entrance with the intent to go straight home. Once I got home, I went straight to bed. Intense was my day.I could have gone to the Sunday sessions, but I decided to go to the beach (Far Rockaway) instead. I had my ample share of divine activations for a weekend.

The Rodent God Attacked Me After I Used Mouse Away

Amidst the hustle and bustle of New York City, rodents scurry as the people scurry the city going about their daily lives in the Five Boroughs. While the silver screen shows four successful women in charge of their lives (and having sex), what the silver screen fails to show you are “The Rodents in The City”. They are in the subway tunnels and in the parks, living off of human waste and scum. Day & night and night & day, the rodents invade every home from the Manhattan flat to The Bronx Housing Project, to the Park Slope Brownstone to an old apartment in Jamaica, Queens. The rodents are New York City. Like The City, they seemed to never sleep as they crawl through the concrete jungle while we sleep.

It took no time for the rodents to infiltrate the new housing units in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn. Only standing for two years, mice manage to crawl on into the unit I live in. Perhaps, the mice were lead to the unit by the aroma of chicken curry and peas & rice my housemate cooks daily – hoping for some West Indian morsels to feed on. I didn’t care if they feed off my roommate’s food – as long as they didn’t feed off my food, but unbeknownst to me, one such rodent ventured in to my room and ate my Trader Joe’s Buffalo Jerky. I didn’t know at the time as I had the jerky in my Trader Joe’s Plastic Bottle reusable bag that I folded and took to work. At work, I dug in to the Jerky packet looking so forward to some of that Sweet & Spicy Jerky – until my fingers reached out into the hole the mice made as it nibble through to get to my jerky I was oh, so looking forward to eating. As I marched to the bathroom trash can to throw out my beloved buffalo jerky and to wash my hands (of course), I vowed to fight back!

Unlike the insect kingdom who knows if they enter my room, they will die, the rodent kingdom felt they didn’t have to respect the agreement I laid down as the law of my space. I know I can’t kill a mouse as easily as I can a fly or a roach. Rodents also avoid those glue traps. Like most people thinking Glue Traps works, my housemates brought them, but what they don’t realize is that rodents are smart enough to avoid them. Manufacturers might as well call them ‘roach traps’ as they only ‘catch’ them and the like. I was told by a friend of mine that only New Yorkers with a lot of money can afford the serious extermination to keep rodents and other venom, but I couldn’t to accept that.

In brain storming, those little white trays of rodent poison came to mind and they seem to work, yet I didn’t want to be searching the house for a dead rodent as every one doesn’t die on a bare, naked kitchen floor. I sensed it had to be an affordable way – and more natural way than those little white trays of rodent poison. So, I called some health food and natural food stores in the area to see if they carried something natural that got rid of rodents. As I was referred to different stores – none of them carry such a product. So, I strategically search the internet for natural rodent repellent. The 1st natural rodent repellent product I found was seemed to be quite popular for outdoor/lawn usage. This product's website had great testimonies, so I search Amazon.com (for 2nd opinions of course) and I got them. Yet, they weren't the reason I decided against this product. The reason I decided against this natural rodent repellent is because I don’t want my room to smell like fox urine! Yes, fox urine is natural, but I was looking for something more...non-animal. Furthermore, I doubt that city rodents know what a fox is, let alone what its urine smells like. The only Foxes New York City rodents would most likely know about is Fox 5 News (WNYW) and the Fox News Channel. So, I continue the internet search for a natural rodent repellent and this company in Asheville, NC had the product I was looking for.

Dreaming Earth, known for their SomaTherapy Essential Oils, also makes Mouse Away, an all natural rodent repellent. Now, I couldn’t believe a blend of peppermint & spearmint oils could repel mice. I knew my room could have a minty smell, but would it be rodent-free? That was the question! So, I called the company directly. The rep I spoke with said it worked and he also suggested I get some Brillo or steel wool pads to patch up any possible mouse holes. He suggested the whole Mouse Away kit, which consists of the spray, cubes, and concentrate. However, I still couldn’t believe a blend of peppermint & spearmint essential oils would drive the mice away, yet I decided to try the spray. The rep said to spray the corners and the doorways. Once it arrived, I hadn't opened it yet as I took the advice of a friend of mine to leave no food items out, to keep them in the refrigerator or in canisters. So far, that worked and I also learned the hard way to dispose of Styrofoam that had the odors of strong, spicy meat dishes. One night ago, I ate a Middle Eastern lamb & rice dish and dispose of its Styrofoam container in my room trash can. Well, in the wee hours of the night around 2am-3am, I hear plastic bags rustling. I got up, turned on the lights, and saw a mouse jumping out the trashcan to escape in my closet. I told my housemates to not leave anything out, but it seems like that fell through dead ears as curry chicken bones reentered the kitchen trash can, in which I saw the mouse jumped out of in the wee night hours several weeks ago. However, what triggered me to get the Mouse Away was while doing my nightly meditation prior to bed, I thought I saw something enter underneath the door, going right into my closet. I turned on the lights to see a mouse running back out underneath the door to exit my room. Since my meditation was cut short from the excitement, I decided to open the Mouse Away as it's time to use it was NOW!

I targeted the closet and the doorway crack with the Mouse Away, turned off the lights and went to bed. The mouse tried to come back – although, I didn’t hear it coming; I heard it leaving. As it scurried away in a stomping-like/temper-tantrum manner, I also sensed this anger coming towards me. I have no idea what’s special about my closet. Is it’s the energy of 12th Dimensional Platinum Portal I open in this shielding meditation I do? My room had a strong minty odor stronger than that the toothpaste with that ‘fresh, minty taste’, but its way better on my nose as opposed to fox urine. So, I went to bed and then that is when the Monster Rat attacked. In dreamtime, prior to Monster Rat Attack, I saw two mice just staring at me – looking shocked (I guess Mouse Away threw them a curveball). The next dreamtime scene was I trying to tell others about how Mouse Away works. Yet, doubters couldn’t believe something as simple as simple as a blend of peppermint & spearmint oils works as this Homer Simpson looking dude decided to build his own complicated mouse trap. It consisted of a fishing net, a rib-eye steak, and clam shells. Don’t ask me how that came about as I don’t know! A mouse entered the complicated mouse trap, eats the meat (both the steak & meat in clam shells) and morphed into a Monster Rat – but, let’s calls him Rodent God. With his scaly claw it tries to scratch me on my right side and then I woke up.

So, what’s the moral of story? To not meditate and use Mouse Away before bedtime? To stop opening portals in my closest? Or, that I shouldn’t have angered Rodent God, by using Mouse Away? It’s none of the above, as a Micro UZI (with Mouse Away bullets) takes Rodent God out (peaceful meditations are out-the-window when Rodent God attacks). The lesson here is that there is non-animal, toxic-free/chemical-free rodent repellent out there that works – that even inner city rodents can’t stand – and it’s Mouse Away!

The Hipsters let McCarren Pool Close

Located in the Hipster haven of Williamsburg/Greenpoint area in Brooklyn, NY, the McCarren Pool Parties ran for 3 seasons featuring free outdoor concerts of various indie rock bands. McCarren pool was built during the Great Depression in 1936, closed in 1984, and remerged in 2005 as a concert venue. Large crowds average 6,000 per week and 45,000 for the season, yet when it came to attending community board meetings to decide the fate of the pool, the hipsters just didn’t show up.

Luckily, according to the NY Metro, JellyNYC (the company behind the concert series) are looking to Inlet Park in Bushwick area of Brooklyn to continue the concert series. However, next time, I hope next time they won’t rely on the hipsters to get politically involved. I know the hipsters as indie rockers from my college radio days at Album 88, Georgia State University’s student radio station (WRAS, 88.5FM). It’s all about the music for them. And that music is normally indie rock so bad it’ll never become commercial (indie rockers are those fans who turn their backs on the artist if the artist achieve mainstream success or become “too commercial”. From my experiences at Album, indie rockers can be (and at times are) cliquish & elitist in being anti-mainstream – which I also see in the hipsters in Brooklyn.
The Manhattanites are accused of being elitist, yet the Brooklyn hipsters in Williamsburg are just on the opposite end of the spectrum (whereas the former is said to be materialistic).

McCarren Pool is being closed down for a renovation due to be completed in 2011 and will accommodate between 1,400 and 1,700 swimmers. So in 2011, the hipsters will have to share McCarren Pool with all those commercial people.

Greyhound Bus Lines = A Gray Hell Ride

Upon moving to New York City from Atlanta, GA, I didn’t book my one-way plane ticket in advance (I waited until I secured a place 1st). A one-way plane ticket to NYC 5 days later was about $300 and I couldn’t afford to pay that – and besides, I’ve paid that much for roundtrip tickets! I hear the increase in prices was due to gas…thank you Georgia W Bush, environmentalists, tree huggers, and NIMBYs (Not In My Back Yard – an acronym used to describe neighborhood residents against any type of development… most Atlanta people are NYMBYS). Stuck between a rock & a hard place, I tried Amtrak. They wanted $237. So much for government subsidized railroads. So, there was Greyhound. I didn’t think the trip would be that bad. My suspicions rose when a coworker said to get a seat close as possible to the door and my friend who drove me there told me to never leave my bags (he rode Greyhound before and had not-so-nice reviews about it).

Atlanta, GA Greyhound bus terminal is ugly! Yet, it’s in the ghetto wasteland called Five Points (South of Underground Atlanta with nothing but strip clubs, bond stores, and homeless people). The 1st bus driver I had leaving from Atlanta was a jerk. ATL Greyhound said that I could bring on 2 carryon bags (one for above the seat & one for below). The Greyhound bus driver said I could only bring on one. We argued and note, I was the 1st one in line because I paid $5 for priority seating to get the seat closest to the front of the bus as suggested by a former co-worker. A massive line formed and I didn’t want to risk having to go back to check a bag & get left. I had no choice but to leave my bag since that asshole bus driver wanted to argue with me (while holding up the line). I tried to fasten my little bag to one of my main luggage, but it fell apart. Eventually, the bus driver let me on with it – and no, I wasn’t grateful because all that drama wasn’t uncalled for, the ATL Greyhound Station was in the right. Once we all boarded the bus, the bus driver walk around for tickets and a passenger tried to hide a boxed HP Laser Printer under the seat. He had to check it and the bus driver waited for him. It took dude 45 minutes to check the Printer. I was pissed because I was ready to leave GA for America (Dominique Huff of Exceptional Radio, an Atlanta, GA native doesn’t consider GA part of America – so, when I refer to America, in this blog, it includes all 49 states w/o GA & Atlanta, GA not being considered a real American city). Others were mad too. This trip was not off to a great start and I was in a text messaging fiery flurry about it. So, I decided to transcribe my text messages I sent to my friends about Greyhound.

I’ve been – we’ve all been – waiting for 30 minutes to board this bus! Wtf? Y do they wait last min 2 fix something that should have been fix an hr ago? [Still in VA, the bus driver thought something was broken in the bus. It was reported, but I guess it could have waited for repairs. Also, there was a large group of people wanting to go NYC (Another Greyhound overbook/under-bus scenario), but instead of providing the extra bus they had to them, they decided to call that bus to NYC – leaving those people to wait about another 5hrs for another bus. You be better off riding a turtle to your destinations than Greyhound. The sad thing is the nightshifts caught up with the schedule, but once it got to day shift…it back to being late.]

I’ve finally made it 2 nyc – via the great American interstate i-95 (i-85 is American – but not once it hits ga & once merged w/ i-75, it becomes a hot mess). Baltimore, md gryhnd is a fairly nice stn. Newark, nj is as well. Winston-salem, nc has the best stn in [I meant “on”] this route. Im not impress w/ Anderson, sc, raleigh, nc, & Richmond, va. I will never ride greyhound again. I look like shit. The people look like shit – some of wouldn’t be on, if airfare wasn’t steep. I like that I got 2 leave ga & see America, but I rather fly. Armpit protection has fail among us, my ass hurts (not in a homo-gsu-eagle way) [GSU is GA State University, The Atlanta Eagle is a gay leather bar popular with GSU senior staff & students], leg are cramp, we arrived late, we left late, babies of ghetto & trailer mamas were crying nonstop. This is [was] awful. Train fare went up – that people in Newark, nj are talking greyhnd 2 nyc! Thank u us-gov & bankers. The moment is here 2 claim our sovereignty – let do it! As I am flying next time.

And this Ladies and Gentlemen concludes my greyhound ‘adventure’. Bus stations are magnets for the most seedy people I've seen. It's was so such a mixed from blue collar to homeless. Some of us could have flown, but you know gas & politicans & tree huggers screwed that up - but they have more than enouhg funds to fly 1st class, so why they have to worry? Why just a Starship Snapshot Galactic Federation of Light?
The Galactic Federation of Light [GFL] knows humanity wants something like Close Encounters of the Third Kind, yet “There shall be no contact in the form that the planet would like”. So, all we are going to get is starship snapshot. We already had those from The Greys and other UFOs. This “opportunity” is a yawner, IMO.

“During this time there will be much commotion…” & the Ultimatum is…
I sense some subtle fear in this. This message states our “highest authorities” in governments will attack, hence the ‘security field’. And we TRUST them to and let them intervene in Earth because according to the GFL, if they “do not intervene now... [GFL] FEAR it would be too late”. Too late for what? Then the message ends will an ultimatum – ACCEPT [GFL] in LOVE [with hearts wide open] or REJECT them in FEAR. How come we can accept them in discernment? Why do they need adoration/devotion from us? How come we can’t reject from basic disinterest? Why is rejection of them as a form of fear? Shelly Yates received an Ultimatum from the “Fire the Grid” Light Beings when they asked her (while she was in the bathtub, which I think is rude…, Cosmic Beings of Light with no manners…, tsk-tsk) if she’s with them or not. An Either/Or mindest is not of nonduality, IMO. I see some The Day the Earth Stood Still [1951] references in this channel as well, but at least Klaatu & Gort the robot landed their ship and appeared. GFL expects us to rejoice over a snapshot of a starship in the sky – without any 3rd contact. People will speculate all kinds of fear-based theories on why a starship is just hanging around the Earth for 3 days.

And the most important question…Why Alabama, Galactic Federation of Light?
“We give you the name Alabama?” For what reason, it seems like the world may never know – even Blossom Goodchild doesn’t know. And the paradox is she couldn’t get the Galactic Federation of Light [GFL] to explain their reference to Alabama [AL]. So, we have people trying to figure out why AL. Some think it’s the name of the starship, I don’t know. There was a Native American Muskogean tribe called the Alabama. As far as the meaning of Alabama, it’s generally accepted that it’s of Choctaw in origin – meaning “clearers of the thicket” or “herb gatherers” from the words “alba” (meaning "plants" or "weeds") and amo (meaning "to cut", "to trim", or "to gather"). Perhaps the GFL is here to gather their devoted star children and haul them on starships (and they can take them away, IMO). Or maybe the GFL is here to remove some weeds? I don’t know – but returning to the starship name theory…Starship Herb Gatherers or Starship Plant Trimmers are awful names for a Starship – so not Galactic, IMO.

Alabama is not in the Southern hemisphere of the Earth. It’s a state in the Southeastern region of the USA. Does the GFL need to learn modern-day Earth geography? Huntsville, AL is where Space Camp and NASA are located, but why there? This message is addressed 1st to leaders, governors, and politicians. Why not Washington DC? Or New York City where the United Nations is located? Is the GFL intending on having some BBQ & Sweet Tea (not Iced Tea) with the AL governor? Or maybe they’re going to Rosa Parks Museum to learn why they shouldn’t have African-Americans sitting in the back of the starships? Now, if GFL is coming to AL to partake in either a Frog Jumping Contest or a Greased Pig Chasing Contest, I would be concerned – as Cosmic Beings of Light chasing greased pigs would be quite bizarre. Maybe the GFL is referring to the country-western music group, Alabama? I don’t know and will let those who resonate with this figure out the AL mystery. I’m not into channeled messages with too much deciphering, yet it’s just supposed to be all about the love. Or is really about Idolatry?

Why Job Fairs Sucks

Job Fairs sucks for the following reasons:
1) It’s all about Sales positions (or Account Executives or Financial Reps)
2) It’s all about joining the Arm Forces (Army, Navy, etc)
3) Prime America is always there

I just moved to NYC and so far I’ve been to three job fairs. The 2nd one I went to in Queens Crossing MuDan Banquet Hall, in Flushing, NY was a real job fair sponsored by Queens Crossing, Queens Chamber of Commerce and The Asian Job Service Employer Committee. It wasn’t all about Sales or enlisting in the US Arm Forces. They were there, but they weren’t the focus. The downside is that I don’t speak Chinese because if I did, I would have a job as most employers required people fluent in Chinese. NYC Dept of Health was there with free condoms. I told the NY Dept of Labor rep who emailed me about the Queens Job Fair that its theme is…Get a Job, Not an STD! LOL

The 1st and 3rd job fairs were at the Radisson Martinique On Broadway Hotel. I won’t give out the names of the hosts, but the dates were Wednesday, June 25, 2008 & Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Both of them suck and were a waste of time. The only ‘opportunities’ were to join the navy or sales – while the 3rd one was just sales or account executives or financial reps or whatever the name is in attempts to mask that its sales.

The 1st one I went to, I was pissed and vowed never again. The 3rd one I waited in line – seeing people leaving pissed off and saying something in the lines of “don’t bother, it’s a waste of time”. I decided to inquiry and it’s just sales – and Prime America is there! I thought about leaving. I told the young lady behind me that maybe we should leave because 5 different people said this job fair is a time waster. Yet, she said that it might be a different experience for us. So, I decided to stay in line – so I can have something to write about – yet however, a Job Fair with Prime America present [IMO] is always a dud. As more pissed-off people left, we got in. Daffy Duck attended this Job Fair, as I wasn’t going on record by signing in my name.

The host of this job fair has an article on getting the most out of job fairs on its website. One method it mentioned was to contact the host of the job fair for a list of companies. I emailed them asking for that and I didn’t get a response! Now, lets look at the ad, so we all can be smart the next before we jump on the cheese & butter job fair line.

It doesn’t say these companies are hiring for these positions in these industries – its just says companies in these fields will be there. Working in a position is specific, working in an industry can encompass many positions – and all those industries were there…they were just looking for sales people!

It was packed! People were seriously looking for work. One gentleman I talked with expressed how disappointed he was in this job fair. I told him I knew it would be a time waster since Prime America is there and that every company there was looking for sales reps! It was really sad – especially the people at the Prime America line. They probably don’t know that Citigroup, in which Prime America is subsidiary of, filed bankruptcy. What was sadder was this young lady telling a recruiter for some other sales position that she would take anything.

We all, at times, have a sense of urgency – but being in desperation is not the mindset to be in – because, like that young lady, you’ll take anything. And when taking anything, you most likely could ended in a job you hate – and in a job you hate, you could most likely underperform and ended up terminated for it. Regardless of how bleak one’s situation looks, we must NOT be willing to give our power away. Of course that’s what the Controlling Forces want and I know no matter what that New Age white woman says, it’s hard to stay positive if your bank account isn’t staying positive. Yet, the way out of the competitive rat race of finding a job is to work in your passions, as they are the keys to your soul purpose. That’s a difficult leap of faith, but the most rewarding in the long run as there is no longer such a thing as stable job with these laid-offs, mergers, and bankruptcies.

I wish I could have told this young lady that as I observed her in that line. In fact, I wish all jobseekers would know this. I learned about pursuing my passions/Soul Purpose from Karen Bishop (whatsuponplanetearth.com). The host of the 3rd job fair I went to is having another one on July 22, 2008 – next one on September 28, 2008. Am I going? Hell no!

PS Actually, there was another Job Fair I’ve been too. It was at CUNY. Since I found out about it at the last minute and arrived 10 minutes before it ended, I cannot say if it was a hit or miss. Yet a disqualifier is that Prime America was there – and not only was Prime America there, they approached me for my resume when I was at another booth (wondering where its rep went) – needless to say, I declined to give them my resume! Can we say – desperate? Yet, that being two disqualifiers, I still can’t critique CUNY’s job fair based the last 10 minutes I was there.

Giving thanks & gratitude has been challenging for me, as I know my life can be much better and that the limitations do NOT have to be. But today, I want to give thanks to this couple on the #3 train for their very frank and thought provoking conversation on people and on life. I was feeling down due to the NYC Writers Circle mess (which led to the organizer removing me from the group… I attempted to correct what I thought the error is as you see on my previous post and that's all I can do) and life in general (NYC Writers Circle was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back). While trying to pull myself together in route to my friend’s house, this couple was conversing with a young lady on train and the conversation was hilarious, on point, and real.

Coincidentally, we all got off the same stop and I said to the wife, "I was feeling down and your conversation cheered me and thank you for that" She gave me a hug saying that she hoped that I feel better. So, much thanks and gratitude goes out her, her husband, and the young lady they were conversing with for being in the moment when I needed it.

An Apology to NYC Writers Circle for the Typo and Misunderstandings

I want to personally apologize to NYC Writers Circle, Cali, the organizer and the Hosts of the July Salon for my July 25th posting. In the note, I met to say BEFORE – not AFTER. I regret not catching this error prior to posting and notifying NYC Writers Circle. Again, I want to clarify that I thought, conceive and wrote this post BEFORE I received notification of the cancellation and apology -- not AFTER! For this error and the aftermath of its effects, I take full accountability. If Cali and anyone else in NYC Writers Circle still feels I misrepresented the facts, feel free to let me know and as far not posting the directed link of the cancellation/apology post, as NYC Writers is a restricted Meet Up Group, I thought the direct link to the post would be only accessible to members only, but if NYC Writers Circle still prefers for me to post the link, then let me know. Once again, this rant was created BEFORE receiving the cancellation & apology emails. I regret the error of my posting and the effects of its miscommunication.

Beyond Worst: Evening Gone South with NYC Writers Group and Unintended Conversations

It was the nightlife/social life I tried to have afterwards that was the downward spiral. Yet, I’m not complaining as it’s very funny to say the least. I began with July Salon by NYC Writers Circle, a meetup group for writers I’ve joined to vibe with other writers and I end this with The Nightclub Excursion That Just Wasn’t Going To Be.

Awful-to-Dismal: My 1st NYC Writers Circle: July Salon Experience

Note: This was written AFTER [CORRECTION: BEFORE - Rafiq 7/26/08] I received an email from Cali [the organizer] noting the cancellation with her apology. This means my call for her & the organizers to remove themselves from the group based on their policies is null & void – as well as my call to find another venue as Cali stated that she’ll seek another venue. Lastly, Paragraph NY and NYC Writers Circle, consider having a combined event – at a more accommodating venue of course. It was actually kind of cool to hear other writing groups.

Awful! If asked one word to describe my 1st experience at the NYC Writers Circle at KGB Bar on July 25, 2008, I would say – Awful! Now, to be fair, I’m not faulting NYC Writers Circle totally because KGB Bar double booked us with another writing group called Paragraph NY. Once I arrived and saw Paragraph NY occuping most of the seating (I’m assuming they got there 1st), I knew this event would be sinking ship. What was worst was that Cali, the organizer of NYC Writers Circle, wasn’t there. Only Paul, 1 of the 3 hosts (Alexis and Koli are the other 2) of this event showed up. KM Campbell, one of the readers was there along with Paul. It is said the “captain goes down with the ship” and none of the captains (Cali, Alexis, and Koli) were there – and this ship was sinking fast! The writings were on the walls (or the ship bowels for that matter) that this disastrous event is sinking more rapidly than the Titanic.

It was decided that Paragraph NY read 1st. Patrick Ryan read from his fictional piece and it was quite good until he said, “Her boobs are like fried eggs”. I had to start text messaging. I already typed the text on how this event sucks, but “She has boobs like fried eggs” traumatized me. I had to text vent! Oh…for the record Paragraph NY, I had my cell phone on “Flight Mode” which temporary disabled the cell phone and text messaging. I wanted to state this because I was obviously texting on my cell phone if anyone noticed. I know Paragraph NY have strict rules (as well as the world does since Patrick Ryan accidentally emailed them to an internet publication who decided to post them) and I did adhered to them. Once Patrick finished reading, the crowd applauded, Paragraph NY declared a 5 minute intermission, and I decided to mingle. I met a journalist from San Francisco whose name I can’t recall (sorry dude). We talked as we had to move for the crowd getting beer. When he went to the bar, I decided to chat with a young lady sitting down. Her name is India and she’s with NYC Writers Circle. It was her 1st time at an NYC Writers event too. I told her this event sucks (due to the double booking – not the readings). As I was about to tell her that I’m traumatized and why, intermission was over. As I was tired of standing, I saw a few people sitting outside on the stairs and decided to join them. The second and final reader from Paragraph NY is Bob Smith. Bob read his sci-fi/fantasy piece on time traveling to meet his past self whom he called Junior. I tried to listen to it, but Billie Holiday was blasting upstairs and several young ladies were talking downstairs. I didn’t want to stand, but I didn’t want to return to the crowded house, yet I was missed some of Bob’s reading. The same was for the few folks by the stairs. We had to stand near the door in order to hear Bob. The host of Paragraph NY was rightfully concerned, but we were able to hear him – until people started coming up the stairs! The young ladies from downstairs came up and then Blake, who’s with NYC Writers Circle, came up. He was wondering what was going on and I tried to explain as low as I could, but perhaps Blake’s Texas demeanor, wasn’t quiet enough for one guy who kept telling us to be quiet.

Blake wanted to get something to drink. I suggested going to the health food grocery store on the corner of 2nd Ave and 4th St. I did want to finish hearing Bob’s reading as it seemed very witty, but I was clueless on what’s going on and all I remember is something about “the gay republicans”. Bob Smith is the 1st openly gay comedy to appear on The Tonight Show and he wrote for the Rosanne TV sitcom. This probably explains why at the end of the sitcom it seemed like every character was coming out gay... Anyway, Blake and I went to the health store. He got beer. I got water. Thinking it would be inappropriate to bring our own drinks into the bar, we put them in his briefcase. We ended taking them out anyway, but I was not going to pay any more money to this sinking ship (NYC Writers Circle was $2 at the door). Blake and I arrived a few minutes after Bob finished reading. I told Blake Paragraph NY’s prose of the evening… “Her boobs are like fried eggs”. Blake paused in the middle of him opening his beer…yes, a well needed drink after hearing that. Blake has been to other NYC Writers Circle events. He this event is in no way like the June event. I wouldn’t know as this one for July is my 1st one.

Once Bob finished, Paragraph NY hauled ass and cleared out – leaving about 8 of us for NYC Writers Circle July Salon – in which 51 people RSVPed! Did I not say… awful? Dismal is also a great way to describe that train wreck! Paul read his fictional piece about the Catholic husband killer who got attacked by the statures of the saints. Although it was only a dream and the wife didn’t kill her husband, once Paul finished reading more people left – leaving about 4 people remaining. Did I not say…dismal too? I don’t know if the people were disturbed by Attack of the Statures of the Saints, but if the Statures of the Saints started attacking me, I would get a sledgehammer and start smashing! Hey, I have no religious guilt.

NYC Writers Circle July Salon was just awful – so awful that Paul refunded my $2. You just can’t deny how bad it was and unfortunately, the causality was KM Campbell because she never got a chance to read! Blake and India had to leave and it seemed like everybody had to follow their lead. I stayed out in the hallway overhearing Paul, I think, telling KM Campbell to read anyway as she was about to leave too. As India exited, she told me she felt sorry for KM for having an audience of about 4 people. I felt sorry for KM too, so I decided to hang around in the hallway because 1) I had to take my cell phone off of Flight Mode to text how dismally awful this event was – along with Paragraph NY’s prose of the night and 2) I was trying to not laugh. As sad at it was that KM barely had an audience, but it was also funny as hell. I would have did KM a disservice if I went back in and started laughing as she might think I’m laughing at her work. I like what she had to read. Unfortunately due to the comic, satiric aftermath of NYC Writers Circle July Salon, I was distracted and I missed some of KM’s prose. I ended up leaving anyway – to roam the East Village for a gallon of water. Later on, I saw KM on 4th St. I told her I stayed…in the hallway – but not why I stayed there. The NYC Writers Circle July Salon event was awful and I was dehydrated as hell. Prior to NYC Writers Circle, I participated in an extensive group meditation with Lisa Renee of Energetic Synthesis. After it was over, she said to drink plenty of fluids (but not beer – so Blake, perhaps another time) and rest. Yet, I decided to attend the NYC Writers Circle to meet other writers and I didn’t want to get removed from the list for being a No Show.

Cali, the organizer of NYC Writers Circle has a strict policy (although not as strict as Paragraph NY from what I heard…wink-wink) of removing No Shows who RSVP “YES” from the list and I hate to call this out, the removal starts with her, Alexis, and Koli because they were the organizers (I just hope Paul can run this group solo). The same perhaps goes for the others who RSVPed, but I’m not sure about them because they could have came, saw a packed housed with that Paragraph NY banner in full display, and decided to leave. I talked briefly with the host of the Paragraph NY. She told me that KGB did a double booking before. Now ladies and gents, remember the old adage – “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice…” – you are all smart enough to fill in the rest. I strongly suggest the both Paragraph NY and NYC Writers Circle to find another venue because all writing groups are not alike. I wasn’t feeling the grunge music KGB played either during intermission. It felt more like the end of Frat night at Headbangers Ball than a Writers’ workshop/reading (KGB might want to go upstairs and borrow that Billie Holiday track I heard). I originally told India the music gave me the vibes of hot wings and Hooters girls, but I was wrong (“Her boobs are like fried eggs” still was traumatizing me…I was trying to heal myself). Paragraph NY, I think that gym you had a reading at a while is a much better option. Please recommend it to NYC Writers Circle – just as long as this gym does not double book!

The Nightclub Excursion That Just Wasn’t Going To Be

Well, about a week ago, a friend of mine and I planned to go out tonight – yet my gut feeling was saying it’s not gonna happen. I know Lisa Renee had said to rest, but I promised my friend we would go out. I just planned to not stay out that long. So, after that awful NYC Writers Circle event, I called my friend to see if we’re still going out. He tried to back off and I said, “Look, we going out – I’ve been at this writing circle event in which the bar double booked with some other group who was there 1st and it was awful – so we’re going out tonight.” My power of persuasion convinced him, but he suggested bringing along his friend whom I haven’t met. I wasn’t enthusiastic about it and it shown in the tone of my voice. Then, I had this premonition that his friend is somehow hearing this conversation. My friend suggested his friend and I have some commonality. I said, “Oh, is this the guy who got his ass kicked in Spanish Harlem?” My friend seeming in shock said “Yes”. My friend lives in Spanish Harlem and his friend who is from what was described to me a humble vegetarian – and in the hood or the American ghetto, humble is the last – I repeat the last attribute to be in. So, I asked, “He’s in Spanish Harlem with you?” My friend said, “Yes!” I said, “Why – did he learn [Brazilian] Jiu-jitsu?” My friend had to get off the phone and he told me he had the phone on Speaker – thus meaning his friend heard everything I said. “Oh well,” I said. “I just hope [his friend] saw a therapist if needed.” That’s when the conversation had to end as I heard his friend saying it’s not funny. I was like – oh well. What’s done is done. The lesson is always to stay in my Heart Centered so I can get that gut feeling and I’m sure my friend won’t have m on Speaker phone any time soon.

Beyond Worst is how I described the fateful Friday night of 7/25/08

You cannot get any worst then worst – but my Friday night of 7/25/08 became that. As I took the subway home, I was telling the few people who listened to me about “boobs like fried eggs” and people getting their ass kick in Spanish Harlem. I vented. They laughed. Eventually, I got my gallon of water (that trendy $0.99 bottle of water I brought with Blake wasn’t enough) and drunk it all the way home.

Jesse Jackson Threatens to cut off Obama's Balls

According to the Huffington Post, thinking the mic wasn't on in an appearance on the Bill O'Reilly Show, Jesse Jackson said he could cut Barack Obama's nuts off for lecturing about morals at African-American churches. Barack WTF? How dare you talk about morals at the Black churches? Morals and Black church don't mix. They may mix in white churches, but not the African-American churches. Jesse Jackson knows this Barack as he's a reverend.

You see Barack, at the Black churches, it's about becoming a Mega - a mega-church that is. And in order for a church to become a Mega, they need revenue. Barack, your job is to make sure the congregation gives until it hurts for those 'get-out-of-sin' cards. A place that makes people feel good for their sinful ways by selling...get-out-of-sin cards. Although, these aren't physical cards, but they are obtained by going to church, singing some Jesus hymns, and giving lots of money - more than a tithe of your gross income to the Pastor/Reverend/Bishop. As more people want feel-good lip servicing, all that moral talking results in empty pews, Barack. A church can't have that if it's trying to become a Mega!

In addition Barack, you must keep the civil rights broken record going & going &going & going -- like the Energizer Bunny! You see Barack, the Civil Rights Establishment has nothing else going on for itself - so it has to be convinced to Black folks that they are still needed. The African-American church is a pulpit of fear - not of the Devil or Satan or going to hell - but fear of the White Man! Not only is it a pulpit of getting paid as I've already discussed, but a pulpit of fear of the White [Boogieman] man! This is why racism and oppression by the White Man must stay never-ending. This is why we have a long, long, long, longggggggggg way to go for equality. We will always have a long, long, longggggggggg way to go for equality because The Civil Rights Establishment can't let go, they have to feel needed.

The song may say "We shall overcome some day" but in actually it's "We shall NEVER overcome" - because to do so would put Civil Rights out of business. Black people taking accountability for their actions and striving to be an integrity is the last thing the good reverend Jesse Jackson wants Barack.

On that Vicious, Offensive Obama satire on The New Yorker Magazine

You know one can count on civil right to do two things, 1) to butt in affairs to make them civil rights issues to perpetrate like they are still needed and 2) get easily, offended. And NY Gov. David Paterson earned his ‘cool points’ with the NAACP in condemning The New Yorker magazine’s satiric cover of Barack and Michelle Obama. There’s Barack looking "bin-Laden-Lite" giving daps (or giving the "fist bump" or "terrorist fist jab” to the dominant media) to his wife who looks like a 1970s Angela Davis reject.

The New Yorker chose that cover because its message – of how the republican or ‘conservative’ media tries to portray Barack Obama as a terrorist sympathizer and Michelle Obama as anti-American. And that is true. An email went around cyberspace misquoting Barack Obama’s books in attempts at portraying him as being down with Muslim terrorists. I’m not fully aware of the accusations of Michelle Obama being anti-American and personally, I really don’t care, but I’ll say this – given the level of racism Black Americans faced in the past, what Black person wouldn’t have slightest resentment toward America?

But anyway, getting to my original point, the Civil Rights establishment is offended – again! And for no good reason at all. It’s satire people! Since the Obamas are offended as well, then the satire must have some truth in it. It crystal clear the republicans has tried to portray the Obamas as those caricatures and that was the point of The New Yorker magazine cover, but Barack Obama and civil rights are…so offended. For the Obamas, either this is true or they have no sense of humor. As for civil rights, everything offends them no matter how we try to be politically correct. So, in ending this, I would say to both civil rights and the Obamas this…Get over it!

On having Patience with a Company’s Quest for the Perfect Candidate

It’s dead! Finished! Over! My hopes of getting employed with this company in Queens, NY are dead! After patiently waiting, I called them, which I have every right in doing so, (See On the Job Search Post) – to be told that the Sarasota, FL headquarters is still searching for candidates. I guess as one of my favorite DJs, Gilles Peterson (Gilles Peterson Worldwide), searches for the “Perfect Beat”…this company (among many others) are searching for the ‘Perfect Worker’…Well, at least Gilles Peterson finds the perfect beat! The same cannot be said about these companies I think – because they are still searching! I interviewed with this company on 6/12/08 and I was lead to believe they needed someone to start soon (in about 3 weeks), but that’s not the case! As they have the time to search for the ‘Perfect Worker’ – in a quest not that different from the one for the Holy Grail.

I hope they do find that ‘Perfect Worker’ as I would like to meet this person – because he or she would be the 1^st perfect person I met! Remember what Alexander Pope said, “humanum est errare” – it is human to err (To err is human). Since these companies are on the Grail Quest for the Perfect Worker, this person is going to be as the title of The Ones dance song – Absolutely Flawless! The Perfect Worker who meets/exceeds all their requirements and then some – the company’s Cookie Cutter Candidate – a worker more cookie cutter than a cheaply built subdivision.

But my question is this – can this Cookie Cutter Candidate do the job?

Screw the credentials! Screw the years & years of experience! And most importantly...screw it, if the person refuses to be the company’s myrmidon! Can this person do the job? Can the company see – despite this person falling short of making all requirements A to ZZ – if the person can do the tasks of the job? Judi Perkins (FindthePerfectJob.com) discusses in detail these companies out there searching for a cookie cutter worker, but I will say this…

I, Rafiq Jennings, will no longer have any patience with a company’s quest for... the 'Perfect Worker'.

In fact, I won’t have any patience for no externals whether it’s an ideal from an individual in a leadership position or that the UFOs will be the rapture (Will Smith boosting Scientology sparked that comment). I don’t deserve to be jerked around by some company in their Grail Quest for the Perfect Candidate! If a company has a need, they would [IMO] evaluate the candidates they had and pick from there – based on if the person is competent enough to do the job – as opposed to this long drawn out Search for…the ‘Perfect Worker’. I bet these companies that do that never walked in the moccasins of the job seeker. Well, what goes around comes around – and I’m going to pursue the next opportunity – in which a company sees my worth – or at least would cut the B.S and tell me they feel I don’t fit!

Oh Dearly, Dearest Beloveds…its time for New Age Musings with Rafiq!

In searching for answers that religion just can’t or refused to answer, I took interest in the New Age/Metaphysical as it provided much overstanding to what I’m going through in my abrupt spiritual awakening. However, I’ve come to realize much of New Age stuff is fluff as well as all the titles of Mariah Carey’s studio albums from 1995 to 2002. Now, I know I might be look upon as being 'negative' or 'not thinking enough positive, good thoughts’ (which is the problem and FYI…more to come on that in another post) by New Age enthusiasts, but the moment is here to call out this New Age wackiness. And if you’re offended…research “the spiritual ego” and “guru idolatry”.

I'm writing this article right after the SolarWave Celebration that was held on June 21, 2008. In the past, the summer solstice was known as the celebration of the little people. They like to come out and play on the night of the solstice. They sing, dance, and party all night. I was just thinking, do you think that some of the orbs we see in our photographs could be the little people making themselves known to us?

Ok, my beef here is with the term “The Little People” as it’s been used in a demeaning way by “The Big People” who think they are Hot Shit. Who are the little people and the orbs, you are asking? According to New Age Mythology, Orbs are ‘ghosts’ or ‘balls of energy that shows up in photographs’ or ‘the unexplained paranormal’ or in this Planetary July 2008 Alert, “the Little People” could be the orbs who come out to sing, dance, and play during the Summer Solstice…Hmm, do you think the orbs “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” during the Summer Solstice?

This Mahala alert brought back a discussion between 2 members in this New Age Yahoo e-group I’m a member had over the legitimacy of Mahala and a channeler named Mark Stearn. Mark Stearn channels the New Age entity bigwigs such as Commander Ashtar (who watches Oprah and listens to gangsta rap – and I bet Mr. Aryan Savior is Crankin’ that Soulja Boy too) and Lord Krishna. Member #1 stated how none of Mark Stearn’s channels resonated with him and how they, like all the channeled messages, speak of blissful change coming (like a certain Democratic presidential nominee maybe…). Member #2 agrees, but wonders why Member #1 supports Mahala – whom Member #2 found hilarious back in the day. Member #1 defends Mahala because she combines astrological and Biblical data along with some channeled info to give some insightful alerts. IMO, this Little People remark reeks of New Age Elitism.

If I saw Lucky and all the other Leprechauns, I would not refer to them as “The Little People” even though they are (well said to be) little because it the term has demeaning conotations. In fact, if “The Little People” could talk, I wonder what they would have to say about we “The Big People”. Let’s see…
